Privacy Policy

How Tooltrusty handles — and mostly does not handle — your data.

Effective date: 6 September 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information is and is not collected when you use Tooltrusty at tooltrusty.com (“the Site”, “we”, “us”). By using the Site you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please stop using the Site.

1. The short version

The content you put into a tool — the text you paste, the image you select, the numbers you type — is processed entirely by your own browser and is never transmitted to us. We do not operate a server that receives it. Separately, like most free websites, we show advertising, and our advertising partners collect data about your visit. Those are two different things and this policy keeps them clearly apart.

2. Local, client-side processing of your content

Every tool on this Site is implemented in JavaScript that is delivered to your browser as part of the page and runs on your device. Specifically:

  • Text you type or paste into a tool is held in your browser's memory for as long as the page is open and is discarded when you close or reload the tab.
  • Images and other files you select are read using the browser's File API and processed using the HTML Canvas API on your device. They are not uploaded.
  • Files you download from a tool are generated by your browser locally.
  • We do not store, log, cache, back up or transmit the content you process. There is no endpoint on this Site that accepts file or text uploads.

You can verify this: load a tool page, disconnect from the internet, and the tool will continue to work. You may also inspect network activity using your browser's developer tools.

3. Information collected automatically

Like nearly all websites, our hosting provider automatically records standard technical information when a page is requested, which may include your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, the page requested, the referring page and the date and time of the request. This information is used for security, abuse prevention and aggregate traffic measurement. It is not linked to the content you process in a tool, because that content is never sent to us.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

Tooltrusty does not set cookies of its own for tracking or profiling, and does not require you to create an account. Some tools may store small preferences locally in your browser (for example, a remembered option) using local storage; that data stays on your device and is not readable by us.

Third parties, principally advertising partners, do set cookies when you visit. A cookie is a small text file stored by your browser that allows a site or its partners to recognise your browser across visits. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings; doing so will not prevent you from using any tool on this Site, though you may see less relevant advertising.

5. Google AdSense and third-party advertising

This Site is supported by advertising. We use Google AdSense and may use other advertising networks to display advertisements.

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this Site and/or other sites on the internet.
  • You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
  • You may opt out of third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info/choices or optout.networkadvertising.org.
  • Google's own practices are described in the Google Privacy & Terms page.

Advertising partners may collect data such as your IP address, device identifiers, browser information, approximate location and the pages you view on this Site. They do not have access to the content you process in a tool, because that content never reaches any server.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we and our advertising partners rely on your consent for the placement of non-essential cookies where required. Where a consent notice is displayed, you may withdraw consent at any time through that notice or your browser settings.

6. Analytics

We may use a privacy-respecting analytics service to understand aggregate traffic patterns, such as which tools are used most and which pages perform poorly. Any analytics used is configured to measure page views in aggregate rather than to build profiles of individuals, and it never has access to the content you process in a tool. If we introduce or change an analytics provider, this section will be updated.

7. Children's privacy

This Site is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or under 16 where a higher age applies under local law, such as in parts of the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us — for example through the contact form — please contact us at muhammadtanzeel935@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.

8. The contact form

If you send us a message using the contact form, the name, email address and message you provide are transmitted to a third-party form-handling service and forwarded to our email inbox. That information is used solely to respond to your enquiry and is retained only as long as needed for that purpose. Please do not send sensitive personal information through the contact form.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over personal data held about you, including the right to request access to it, to request correction or deletion, to object to or restrict processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. Residents of the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom have these rights under the GDPR; residents of California have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know what personal information is collected and the right to opt out of its sale or sharing.

Because we do not operate accounts and do not receive the content you process, the personal data we hold about any individual visitor is minimal. To make a request, email muhammadtanzeel935@gmail.com. Requests relating to advertising cookies are usually best directed to the advertising network concerned, using the opt-out links in section 5.

10. Data security

The Site is served over HTTPS, which encrypts traffic between your browser and our host. The strongest security measure on this Site, however, is structural rather than technical: content that is never transmitted cannot be intercepted, leaked or breached.

11. Links to external sites

This Site contains links to third-party websites, including documentation, standards bodies and opt-out pages. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices. Advertisements displayed on this Site also link to external sites. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any site you visit from here.

12. International visitors

The Site is hosted on infrastructure that may be located outside your country. Standard technical request information described in section 3 may therefore be processed in a country with different data protection laws. The content you process in a tool never leaves your device and is not subject to any international transfer.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the Site, to our advertising partners or to applicable law. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes will be made prominent on the Site. Continued use of the Site after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

14. Contact

Questions about this policy, or about privacy on this Site generally, can be sent to muhammadtanzeel935@gmail.com or through our contact page.
