We make a genuine effort to ensure the tools work correctly and the explanations are accurate, and errors are corrected when they are found. Even so, we make no representation or warranty of any kind, express or implied, about the accuracy, completeness, reliability, suitability or availability of the Site, its tools or its content. Output may be incorrect, incomplete or out of date. Always verify any result that matters before you rely on it.

3. Calculators produce estimates, not advice

The calculators on this Site apply standard formulas to the values you enter. They necessarily simplify, and they cannot know your full circumstances. In particular:

• Loan-to-Value / Down Payment Calculator. Results are illustrative estimates only and do not constitute financial, mortgage, lending, investment or tax advice, and are not an offer of credit or a lending decision. Real lending decisions depend on a valuation, your credit history, income, existing commitments, product criteria and prevailing rates, none of which this calculator sees. Lender LTV bands, fees, insurance requirements and affordability rules vary by country, lender and product and change over time. Consult a qualified mortgage adviser, broker or lender before making any financial decision.
• Password Strength & Crack-Time Calculator. Crack-time figures are rough estimates based on stated assumptions about attacker hardware and guessing rate. They are a teaching aid for comparing password structures, not a security guarantee. A password this tool rates as strong may still be compromised through a data breach, phishing, malware, credential reuse or an attacker who knows something about you. Real-world resistance depends heavily on how a service stores passwords, which is outside your control and outside this tool's knowledge. Use a reputable password manager and enable multi-factor authentication.
• Age Calculator. Results are calendar calculations and may not match the legal definition of age in every jurisdiction, particularly around leap days and time zones. Do not rely on it for legal, medical, immigration or eligibility purposes.
• Typing Speed Calculator. Results measure one short sample on one keyboard at one moment and are not a formal typing assessment or a certified score.
• Screen Resolution / Aspect Ratio Calculator. Results are mathematical and do not account for device pixel ratios, safe areas, browser chrome, platform-specific encoding requirements or a particular platform's rules.

4. File and image tools

Tools that modify files — compressors, converters, resizers, watermarkers and similar — produce a new file and do not alter your original. Nevertheless, always keep a backup of anything important before processing it. Re-encoding an image is lossy in most formats and removes metadata; where metadata matters to you, check the output before discarding the source. We are not responsible for any loss of data or quality resulting from your use of these tools.

5. Developer tools

Formatters, minifiers, validators and generators apply pattern-based transformations and, in the case of the minifier, deliberately conservative rules rather than a full language parser. Output should be tested before being deployed to a production system. Identifiers generated by this Site, including UUIDs, are produced in your browser; verify uniqueness and suitability in your own system before relying on them. Nothing here is a substitute for proper testing, code review or a production build pipeline.

6. No warranty

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, or that any tool will meet your requirements.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages; in those jurisdictions our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
